Shaukeens is an affordable eating joint located in Kalyani Nagar in Pune. It primarily serves North Indian and Street Food. So if you are in a mood to try some truly authentic North Indian delicacies you must visit here. The seating is simple and the interiors are not cramped up.The décor is regular. A lot of people like this place for home delivery or takeaway. Bar facility is not available. There is nothing flashy about the interiors. If there is a party for few people you can book the entire area. From Chef’s Special Sunleri Kebabs to DalChole Double, mirchi Wada, Tandoori items, Murg Mussalam, Multani Mushroom, Dal Makhani, Tandoori Momos, Peanut Kebab etc you get wide variety of dishes here. It is open from 12.00 P.M 4.00 P.M. and then from 7 P.M to 11.30 P.M A meal for two people usually costs INR 650 VAT and service charges are extra. Both cash and cards are accepted here.
Seating is relaxed but not lavish. Basically the place has 7-8 tables for the guests. You can also avail home delivery but minimum amount should be INr250 and it takes 45 minutes for the order to reach you. A lot of people come here to savor its numerous parathas such as Aloo Paratha, Aloo Pudina Paratha, Muttin Kheema Paratha, Murg Kheema Paratha etc.
The service at Shaukeens is very quick. The staff is knowledgeable as well as polite. Portion size is good as you get ample choice of food. You can even ask the staff to suggest you what to eat as per your taste. An evening in Shaukeens is without doubt a lot of fun. It is better that you get reservation done in prior as the place is normally fully booked.
