Firefly is a very nice eating-place located in Hotel Parc Estique Viman Nagar in Pune. It is one of the most sought after multi cuisine restaurants in the city. This contemporary restaurant boasts of signature rooftop grill to offer its clients delectable food and desserts. The ambience is fresh and easy. Lovely palms and pool on one side add to the beauty of this rooftop lounge. Either you can choose the poolside seating or you can also book the private dining area, which is attached to it. There is a suspended bridge above water, which serves purpose of a sheesha bar. It is open from 7 P.M to 11.30 PM.
The menu includes highly creative Indo-Western fusion dishes such as a min blowing range of different kebabs like the smoked broccoli saag paneer lasooni , malai paneer tikka and cheddar tangdi kabab. The chef also prepares wonderful regional cuisines of India. Few of the exotic delicacies available in Firefly include Kerala salmon crab cakes, Hyderabad seafood frito misto, crispy-fried calamari, fish and shrimp in curry leaves tempered with mustard seed. A meal in Firefly is without a doubt value for money spent. Lachha pudina parantha available here is simply heavenly. You must try out the spongy baked gulab jamuns and an ‘Old Monk’ choco mousse.
The service is prompt and staff is ready to help you with whatever you want. The pricing is decent and you will get meal for two people for between roughly INR 1400. The portion size is also fairly decent and you get a wide variety of accompaniments with the food you order here. Atmosphere is quire laid back and an evening in Firefly makes you feel happy as well as satisfied. It is better to get your reservation done in advance as the place is usually heavily booked.
