About Lord of the Drinks, Andheri West, Western Suburbs

There are very few things New Delhi could give to Mumbai, especially in regards for nightlife. But here we can confidently say that Mumbai has added one more famous name to its pool, thanks to Delhi. Since the arrival of ‘Lord of the Drinks’ in Delhi, the city has become even more lively (if that’s possible!) and after a long anticipated wait Mumbai received a reward by gaining the first outlet of this infamous bar chain. The bar has cast quite a spell on Mumbaikers with its intense vibe and around-the-clock high energy that infuses you instantly. Lord of the Drinks chose the trendy Veera Desai Area at Andheri West to open its first outlet in Mumbai. The immense response the bar received since its opening has staggered everyone. We are sure; Mumbai can’t wait for the next one.

It’s a long standing understanding that any tippler worth his salt will head straight for the bar. The promise made by the name ‘Lord of the Drinks’ is kept through a sensational extensive bar spread that is all-encompassing. Cocktails alone cover five pages. Then follows a varied range of beers, scotch, whisky, vodka, tequila, rum, gin, cognac, shots, wines and champagne. The variety is breath taking. Throw in a few nibbles from their Continental menu. You will have fun wading through the menu. It has flashes of innovation. Pick between, tawa meat tacos, dahi ki tikki, basil prawn sumai, banana flower chicken salad, soya kheema pav and mutton baida roti Bolognese. Those who have any hunger pangs left can opt for, fettuccine pesto cream sauce, fennel & chorizo pizza, malvani jhinga curry and stir-fried chicken with hot garlic sauce.

In need of a sugar rush? Get your teeth into some of Lord of the Drink’s scrumptious desserts. How about, malpua lasagna with French toast, chocolate terrine, paan ice cream martini and lord of nutty chocolate brownie fudge. Listen to the staff, they make some good recommendations. Lord of the Drinks is a trendy happening lounge bar that keeps a very different style from its Delhi counterparts. They have given the whole medieval era a skip and stuck with what works best, an earthy stylishly designed space with a laid-back vibe. The bar spans across two levels so there is plenty of space to sit. On evenings when there is a pleasant breeze flowing, sit outdoors. For a bit expensive price tag LOTD is quite a place.
