With perky live music and lively ambience, Glocal Junction has become a busy hangout for the youths.
The idea of Glocal Junction is entirely different from its predecessor Jewel of India. Here the ambience is very upbeat and playful. With a lavish multi-cuisine menu they have paired a fantastic booze selection which entails labels from all over the globe. Glocal Junction organizes fun karaoke nights and live sports screening to keep their punters happy. Tap into their wi-fi if you have some emails to send. One can give scotches and beers and wine a skip and go for their signature cocktails. Chilly passion fruit, evening in Tokyo and Caribbean fire & ice ball is especially delicious. Throw in few nibbles to go with it. For a more substantial fare you can dig into, chicken chili pizza, grilled tofu glazed with sriracha sauce, nasi goreng, grilled Indian salmon with wasabi cream sauce, dosa waffle with chicken sukka, penne rigate jardinara, farmer’s delight pizza and chicken pot pie.
For your share of sugar rush get some of Glocal Junction’s delectable desserts. There are few innovative takes on classic desserts too on the menu, something worth looking into. Try, kalkatta paan cheese cake, waffle brownie with ice cream, baked citrus rabdi with saffron pearls, banoffee pie and caramel mousse with edible soil. They even do a Jain version of the menu, to keep the vegetarians happy. Interiors of Glocal Junction has an industrial look to it with exposed wooden rafters, edgy ironwork, dim yellow lighting and wooden finishes. Use of iron grill work in bar and staircase, that leads you to the upper floor, gives a masculine appeal to it. For a medium-priced bar, Glocal Junction is not a bad deal.
