We being in love with the sea have a special fondness for al fresco dining and Mumbai owns its share of outdoor-centric restaurants. Lately we happened along this gorgeous eatery which excites us on all accounts. It offers a fantastic menu brimming with drool-worthy delicacies plus, thrills us to bits with its lovely outdoor setting. Perched on the rooftop of Executive Enclave Hotel in Pali Hill, Bandra West, is wonderful ‘Café Terra’, a romantic-looking beautiful restaurant that allow you to dine al fresco. If you have a nice date coming then Café Terra is ideal for you.

While soft musical notes mingle with the playful sea breeze sip onto whatever takes your fancy from Café Terra’s impressive bar menu. Have a few frozen tequila margaritas before diving into their Continental, Italian menu. You can even cork-off a bottle of wine to enjoy the ambience. Even if a bit expensive, Café Terra woos your senses with a smorgasbord of mouth-watering dishes. Start with, grilled fish with pataya sauce, quesadilla, double cooked sriracha honey glazed wings, bangers & mash, pesto corn grilled peppers, chicken drumsticks, golden fried prawns and mushroom spiced di Cajun. Don’t go home hungry rather feast on, pasta aglio olio, the epic club sandwich, XO & mushroom with fried rice, slow cooked chicken thigh glazed with sriracha-honey-shitake sauce, pepper 4 ways pizza, penne arrabiatta and prawns in black bean sauce.

Later after spacing the main course with some soulful live music, pick up the menu and browse through Café Terra’s mouth-watering dessert selection. Tiramisu, ice cream sandwich by havmor, magnum are good choices, so are cheesecake, sizzling brownie and cookie sandwich by havmor. There are many who come in after dinner service to simply enjoy few drinks with the ambience. Sprawled on the rooftop entirely, the restaurant is done in the soothing tones of white and blue. As a wash of LED lights perks up the space, you feel as if you have entered another dimension. The ambience is exciting, romantic and trendy. Sit near the edge to drink in an unbarred view.
