About Edward's Yard, North Goa

This open serene restaurant is located at Dando, Goa-Velha on St. Andre Road, Panaji. A bright yellow signpost that leads into a narrow palm-lined lane marks the entrance to the restaurant.
Food is the sole focus of Edward’s Yard. With its natural surroundings lending a true Goan feel, their menu reflects the local flavour by working with likable Chinese/North Indian cuisines. Selection is seafood heavy and one can get their thrill by choosing from their vast listed seafood varieties. Dining at Edward’s Yard is highly reasonable and pocket-friendly. You can enjoy a luxurious Goan feast for very affordable prices here. Back your first course with couple of beers or whatever drink motivates you. After getting that heady buzz, munch on few appetizers such as, crumb fried pomfret, kaju hariyali tikki, rawa fry crabs, duck chilly, malai chicken tikka, prawns masala fry, mix veg spring rolls and butter garlic squid. Also on offer are, fish curry, paneer makhanwala, mutton do pyaza, Balinese curry, chicken cafreal and crabs xec-xec.
A butter garlic pav or naan complements the meal beautifully. Reach a delicious conclusion of sorts with Edward’s Yard selection of decadent desserts. Give your taste buds something to swoon about with, fresh jalebi with rabdi, gulab jamun, devil’s cream, chocolate blob and bebinca, a traditional Goan dessert. The restaurant fills up pretty quickly, call ahead to book a table. Edward’s Yard is named after the caretaker who took care of the family. Set out in the open midst of cluster of palms and papaya trees, the restaurant presents a very lovely and tranquil picture. Get seated in an open casually decorated shed that gives a gorgeous view of the gardens wrapped around the shed. A wonderful place for kids to run around.
