Restaurants in Bengaluru that love to host you and your pet
26 Sep, 2015 by Ipsita BasuLove to carry your furry friends when going out for a meal? Well here’s a list of pet-friendly restaurants in Bengaluru that will allow you to do just that!
Spoonful of Sugar, Indiranagar and Koramangala - Get the sugar rush going for you and your pet at this chic desserts and bake café chain. They even have a special pet-friendly menu that lists delicious food to pamper your four-legged friend. Order their pizza dogissimo for your companion, while you tuck into their delectable Oreo pie and a host of other goodies.
Urban Solace, Ulsoor Lake - This café by the side of Ulsoor Lake was one of the first to welcome pets into their compound. They have semi open seating on top and a terrace, where your pet can run around, while you sip a frothy coffee.
Green Theory, Richmond Town - Stone-cobbled pathways, garden-like seating and an open veranda leave ample space for your pets to sniff, explore or simply stroll and strut their stuff. Tucked away in the bustling Richmond Town area, this is where you and your pet will find your Zen, thanks to the calmness the place exudes. Last we heard, they were planning to put up a pets’ Sunday brunch here.
Rasta Café, Bengaluru Mysore highway - If you, your family and pet are out for a weekend drive, make a pit stop at this 24-hour café for a quick bite or to stretch your legs out. The large outdoor area is an unhindered place to run, jump, play catch and sniff out smells.
The Fat Chef, Varthur Main Road - Enjoy the outdoor seating with your pet, at the Fat Chef, which is in the same compound as the Jagriti Theatre. Though there isn’t any special menu on offer for pets, we are sure, they will find something interesting to polish off, from your plate.
The Hole in the Wall Café, Koramangala - Famous for the sumptuous breakfast spreads, this restro-café has a rustic and homely feel and allows pets to come in. Weekends are usually packed, so either go there early, or go on a non-rush day, so that you can enjoy a hearty meal with your four-legged companion.
Sunny’s, Lavelle Road - The restaurant is named after the owner’s pet golden retriever. Need we even say more? There’s a garden which welcomes pet parents and their pooches to hang out and have fun.
Imli Café, Indiranagar - Large wooden tables and a ledge that looks out into a somewhat busy back street in Indiranagar. Ideal to get a book and laze around with your pet, while sipping a hot masala chai and tucking into finger-licking pakodas.
