Signature Fine Dine Restaurant, Viman Nagar, Pune
The owner has moved from Mangalore to open this restaurant. The seriousness toward fresh seafood is unbeatable and it shows in the food. Mangalore Fish Tikka and Pomfret Tava Fry are the top picks here and they are well done. Apart from the regulars, they have some unique curries like the Hyderabadi Fish Curry - cooked with a delicious mix of spinach and garlic.

Chingari, Sheraton Grand Pune Bund Garden Hotel, Pune
This underrated fine dine North Indian restaurant in Pune is always here to stay, and thanks to Chef Qureshi for that! There is a limited variety of seafood on the menu but whatever is available is based on the fresh catch of the day. The Prawns Biryani is superb and honestly, no one gets close to the flavours you get here. Some of the other specials include the Salmon and Dill Tikka, this is, in fact, a great rendition on a Modern Indian take of the Norwegian Salmon.

Sigree, Hotel Shree Nanda Excellency, Aundh
The restaurant is inspired by the Bengali style of cooking and you will always find Bengali pickles on the table. The same is reflected in the seafood as well, the Lemon and Kasundi Fish Tikka is a modern rendition of what a classic Kasundi Fish would be, the zing of lemon certainly multiplies flavour. The other classics include the Spicy Masala Prawns on Grill, these are served hot on the grill.

Gajalee, Bund Garden Road, Pune
One of the oldest seafood places in Pune has always been the favourite of many. Year after year, the improvisation on the menu has brought the choice of imported Salmon and John Dory on the menu apart from the regular Indian fish and seafood. The Goan Prawn Curry is outstanding and it will surely take a trip down to Goa if you are missing that. Those subtle nuances of coconut would remind you of the Xacuti and the fresh whiff of the sea.

Masa Masa is one of the hidden gems of Pune that offers a curated seafood menu. The Rawas Kasundi Tikka is our top pick and it is also one of the top sellers from the menu, they have varietals of fish with other marination inspired by Goa and Kolkata. They have an extensive range of curries that are inspired by the regions of Vizag, Malvan, Goa and several other cities. Most curries go really well with Steamed Rice and a choice of beer.
