One such place is Manju Ka Tilla (popularly known as MKT), a Tibetan colony. Delhi’s very own little Tibet - Majnu Ka Tilla is not only a shopping paradise with super cute stuff but also a hub of super-affordable cafes and restaurants that will have you wondering how can you eat so much at such a small cost and in a vibe that cannot be found anywhere else. So, here's a little guide for our fellow foodies on how to truly explore the culinary marvel that is Majnu Ka Tilla!


Busan Korean Restaurant

If you are in North Delhi or near North Campus, head over to this cozy little eatery in Majnu Ka Tilla. This place also has Korean interiors with wooden decor and floor seating! Their Korean spread is one of the most authentic ones that you can find in Delhi. For people trying for the first time, we definitely recommend the Bibimbap. This eatery is known for its pork dishes and also offers delicious options for vegetarians.

Must Haves: Potato Pancake, Samgyeopsal, Smoked Pork and Kimchi

Kori's Cafe & Restro

In a market filled with Tibetan eateries, this Korean restaurant is like a refreshing change. It’s a chic café with trendy interiors including colorful walls and fancy artifacts. The place is mostly full so either come on time or be ready to wait for a while but we assure you that the waiting would absolutely be worth it. They’re known for their shakes, burgers, sandwiches, but more importantly, they’re famous for their Korean dishes. If you are new to Korean cuisine, we recommend ordering either the Dosirak (Korean thali) or playing it safe with Ramen.

Must Haves: Kimchi, Bulgogi Bibimbap and Spicy Ramen

Dolma House

Even though the place gives a vibe of a canteen, Dolma House has been the favorite go-to place for meat lovers in the city. In service since the 1980s, Dolma House is extremely popular for its Tibetan food. They serve Tingo, Wanton and Bhutanese delicacies such as Daste (Ema/Kewa/Shakam). Their Momos are equally delicious too. This Tibetan and Chinese food serving restaurant opens at 9 am. Thukpa, Pork Momo, Chicken, Lamb, or almost anything non-vegetarian is a must-try here.

Must Haves: Beef Khotey, Spinach Cheese Momo and Thukpa

Tee-Dee Restaurant

Tee Dee is another one of the most sought after and visited restaurants in Majnu Ka Tilla. With an unusual name, this warm and colorful place serves some of the best Tibetan food especially pork dishes around the area. They also serve vegetarian dishes which taste equally delicious. A great place to hang out with friends and have some lip-smacking food.
