Marking the arrival of the Year of the Snake, KOKO, Hyderabad & Bengaluru’s luxury, Asian dining destination presents a specially curated Chinese New Year menu that brings together time-honoured traditions and modern indulgences. Starting from January 22 to February 15, 2025, this festive offering celebrates the spirit of renewal and prosperity through thoughtfully crafted dishes and cocktails that pay homage to classic Cantonese flavours while adding a contemporary flair.


The menu begins with the sushi offerings bringing together tradition and innovation. Bringing together crunchy snow peas and umami mushrooms, The Golden Enoki Tempura rolls them together, alongside avocado, and zucchini, accented with naga mayo and Gold Dust. The Imperial Unagi Maki blends the smoky richness of eel with avocado, spicy cheese, papaya, jalapeño, and crab sticks, creating a roll that’s as luxurious as it is flavourful.


Dim Sum selections include the Legacy Lotus Dumpling, a vegetarian medley of purple cabbage, asparagus, and lotus root, paired with a signature oyster-Singapore sauce that enhances its rich, umami profile. The Royale Dumpling, packed with prawns, purple cabbage, asparagus, and lotus root, is a tribute to festive feasting, combining robust flavours with a delicate wrapper.


Indulge in the Gong Xi Cheung Fun, a vegetarian delight, featuring leeks, zucchini, pok choy, sesame seeds, and charcoal crisps, offering a satisfying crunch with each bite. Prosperity Cheung Fun, filled with John Dory, prawns, water chestnuts, carrots, bamboo shoots, and charcoal crisps, celebrates the bounty of the sea and symbolises good fortune and abundance.


Small plates like Golden Harvest, a medley of snow peas, okra, French beans, asparagus, and zucchini tossed in chilli oil, offer a satisfying crunch. Flourishing Tuna Tartare presents fresh tuna with jalapeño, mustard mayo, and ceviche sauce, served on a bed of crisp romaine lettuce. The Abundance Sea Bass, coated in spicy tobanjan sauce and paired with Romanesco broccoli, offers bold flavors to match the festive spirit. Hot-Pot Cantonese-Style Fish, a comforting dish of John Dory simmered in soy, ginger, and scallions, embodies warmth and tradition.


For a celebratory twist on classic noodles, Longevity Noodles are a must-try. Udon noodles stir-fried with mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and sprouts symbolise long life and happiness, making them a perfect dish to share with loved ones.


To conclude the feast on a sweet note, the Red Dynasty dessert combines a luscious strawberry mousse layered with vanilla sponge, strawberry compôte, and white chocolate, served with a refreshing strawberry sorbet. This indulgent creation captures the essence of celebration, joy, and togetherness.


The cocktail menu, crafted to complement the festive food offerings, features inventive libations that evoke Chinese New Year traditions. Peach Fortune combines Monkey 47 gin with sakura tea cordial, orange bitters, and peach soda, symbolizing the arrival of spring and good fortune. Golden Fang, a fiery blend of tequila, mezcal, dragon fruit and mango shrub, and Thai chilli agave cordial, represents prosperity and strength, while Snake’s Whisper, a chamomile-rested tequila creation, offers a nuanced balance of vermouth, grapefruit and Thai pepper cordial with lemon, evoking longevity and wisdom.


Miso Moonlight presents a unique twist on plum Absolut vodka with white miso caramel syrup and ginger ale, creating a balanced drink that mirrors the moonlit serenity of festive nights. Lucky Mandarin, with rum, plantain falernum, Aperol, and coconut syrup, captures the vibrancy of the festivities in each sip. Fortune’s Sip, an exquisite blend of Chivas Regal 12 Y.O., Fernet Branca, and absinthe mist, ensures each toast is filled with wishes for prosperity and success.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, traditional lion dance performances will take place during the celebrations, bringing good luck, prosperity, and an energetic burst of colour and rhythm to KOKO’s Chinese New Year experience.
