It is said, then general manager was asked to renovate the hotel without been given much of a budget. It was then that he sat down with his wife and came up with the innovate ideas to design this lovely coffee shop called ‘Yellow Brick Road’. This 24X7 coffee shop is one of a kind in a city like Delhi and is popular for its playful ambience. This coffee shop has thrown out all conventional ideas out of the window and tried to give a refreshing spin to 24X7 dining.
Best way to start any all-day dining menu is through breakfast. Stop by before work to grab a hearty breakfast or if you happen to be visiting in the evening, then starters. Yellow Brick Road offers a generous multi-cuisine menu that spans across entire globe. A substantial buffet is worth checking out. Give your evening a right kick-off by choosing a nice boozy drink. Tackle the appetizers to go with it such as, mutton pepper fry, palak ke shami kebab, vegetable railway cutlets, minestrone soup, kurkuri idli chaat, tandoori pomfret ajwaini and fried fish with tartare sauce. A more substantial fare includes, minced chicken steak, vegetable crepes, spaghetti al pesto, Bangkok chicken curry, keema pao, chicken chettinad, mafia bite pizza, croissant-wich, butter chicken Ludhiana, Pattaya prawn curry and cannelloni al calabrese.
Now to clean your palate have a glass of iced tea or tender coconut water. Coffee and tea is available too for the nicotine addicts. Pair a nice dessert to go with your calming drink. Yellow Brick Road does a wonderful variety of sugar concoctions. Indulge in, hot chocolate fudge, apple pie with ice cream, kulfi falooda, banana split, crème caramel, bull’s eye and gulab jamun with ice cream. One might assume by the name Yellow Brick Road that the restaurant is themed after Wizard of Oz but here you’re wrong. The restaurant is inspired by Elton John’s song by the same name. The interiors seem fashioned after farm, so you will see a lot of interesting farm-based curios. Yellow Brick Road is expensive, watch out for that.
