Dip into The Yard’s fantastic bar menu which is extensive and stocked with all kinds of international booze labels. Kaffir lime & apple martini, monkey business, devil wears prada, Thai hi, the dark sin, dancing Delhi and watermelon & basil caipiroska are worth looking into. Drinking at The Yard is not exactly cheap, yet the experience is an unforgettable one. Ask your server for a glass of wine or a signature cocktail before hitting their eclectic first course. Munch on, prawn & chili dim sum, Balinese chicken satay, honey chilly lotus stem, bhutte ki seekh, fish peri peri and chicken cigar roll. Dig further into the mains like, Thai basil chicken pizza, Mumbaiya vada pav, mushroom risotto, tenderloin steak with rustic pan jus, crispy fish burger, Cantonese chicken and pha lad phrik.
There are some really great draught beers to be enjoyed here and if you are a beer fan then look no further. Inside, the bar is rustic and dimly lit to accentuate the cosy intimate vibe. The interiors are quite spacious with a gleaming bar sprawled on one end of the room. The Yard is casual, unpretentious and rather industrial looking. There is not much on decorative front as things are kept simple here. The only mention-worthy thing is the excellent rooftop seating area, which is made all the more enchanting by string of lanterns hanging from the pergolas. The view from the rooftop is gorgeous. Go early as this space gets filled up quite quickly.
