If you live in and around Vikaspuri, where the restaurant is located, you will find Mela to be a perfect amalgamation of class and flavor. The restaurant is housed under Grand Westend at Community Centre and is apt to grab a quick bite with friends or family.
Mela is well-designed casual dining space that is known for serving a fabulous multi-cuisine menu. For pocket-friendly prices, you can enjoy a lavish range of North Indian and Chinese dishes, prepared excellently. If you are a curry fan, be assured, they won’t disappoint you. They even do home delivery, in case you feel lazy. Those who are alone can tap into their Wi-Fi and catch up on your pending work. The best way to kick-start any menu is by going through the bar selection first. Mela stocks on a great whisky collection. Starters wise you can try out, paneer tikka mirchwada, crispy chilli fish, mushroom kurkure, drums of heaven and murg gilafi seekh. In the curry section, they tempt you with, murg handi, vegetable in Hong Kong style, palak subz maloni and shredded chicken hot garlic sauce.
Their butter chicken is something to watch out for. It’s often ordered by the regulars. Sum up the meal with a sweet dish. Either indulge in fried ice cream or enjoy a hot gulab jamun. Rasmalayi, hot chocolate fudge and triple sundae are also on the menu. On various screens, you can watch the latest match. What could have been a standard fine dining space is transformed into something striking with the use of multi-colored LED lights. Dining style is kept formal.
