Gastronomy scene in Gurgaon is slowly improving and what better sign than the presence of all the funky eateries starting to pop up on the local map. So much so the city is pulling diner crowd from it’s neighbor New Delhi, which is a sure shot indication of it’s culinary charms. While there are some youthful quirky food joints, some screams class and elegance. One example, ‘Lattitude’. This good-looking tranquil eatery is one of the loveliest places to eat in Gurgaon and pulls people with it’s green airy vibe. The restaurant is tailor-made for families and office crowd in mood for some hearty meal. It’s situated at Skycity Hotel, Old Judicial Complex, Sector 15, Gurgaon. Lattitude is open for both lunch and dinner. They present a drool-worthy multi-cuisine menu that wonderfully captures the trifecta of gastronomy – North Indian, Chinese and Continental. Variety on offer is substantial. You will have plenty to choose from. One trip won’t nearly be enough to sample everything on Lattitude’s menu. The restaurant pairs their food with a decent bar selection. Beer is quite cheap. Feast on few appetizers first to whet your appetite like, tandoori prawns, poached chicken salad, mutton chaap, mushroom cappuccino, vegetable cocktail samosa, galouti kebab, fish n chips, malai kebab and vegetable tempura. Move further with mains. Worth having are, panini sandwich, moraccan orange chicken, roasted vegetable lasagna, Swiss emmenthal & sage stuffed chicken scalolopni, Thai red curry, burger, wild mushroom crepelle, grilled fish with lemon butter sauce and fussili in creamy pesto sauce.
Menu is appetizer heavy. If you want to drink and munch on starters then Lattitude would be ideal. The final dessert section is wide, indulge freely. You can tempt yourself with, pista gulab jamun, New York cheese cake, moong dal halwa, devil’s cake rich chocolate sauce, tiramisu with Italian almond biscotti and gluten free chocolate cake. Opt for their buffet if you get a chance. Lattitude have live performances by upcoming artists every fortnight. Prices are hefty. Décor wise, the restaurant is beautifully designed. Warm earthy tones is contrasted by soothing green sofas. Style is modern, elegant and timeless. Vast plate glass windows pours in ample sunshine during the day. For a casual al fresco meal, sit outdoors in their lush green courtyard.
