This restaurant I am talking about has everything to make it an immense success. Ambience, food, service are cornerstones of any good restaurant so Kylin Premier, ambience mall, vasant kunj has come out with flying colours. This restaurant serves pan Asian cuisine so the interiors are a reflection of that. The greyish brown stone wall and wooden beam ceiling gives off a modern look. The furniture is smart and edgy. But the main attraction of the place that will take your breath away is the sky bar. This rooftop bar has canopies with cosy day beds and open bar to romanticize the place. A very romantic and intimate, sky bar has become the added benefit to kylin premier. Besides the ambience the quality of food is what pulls the regular punters back each time. The chef cooks wonderfully authentic oriental fare and displays them with nuance too.

The menu starts with the signature rolls section consisting shiitake mushroom roll, dragon roll, spicy salmon, crunchy tuna roll and crunchy yasai roll. No oriental restaurant is done without sushi so sushi bar presents with lot of options too. Dim sums are an Asian staple. Kylin offers siew mai, veg curry dumplings, kothe, crystal dumplings and shanghai chicken dumplings. Starters have crispy water chestnuts, lettuce wraps, lotus stem honey chilli, prawn tempura, wasabi prawn, sambal chicken and teppanyaki pork belly. Salads and soups are cooked with special Asian ingredients. Teppanyaki section has salmon teriyaki, sweet potato in mustard soya sauce, shredded chicken with black bean sauce, miso marinated black cod, grilled assorted mushrooms and lobster in butter garlic soya & basil. The chef is talented and creates awesome food. Mains menu start with five spice chicken, Indonesian lamb, kung pao chicken, choy sum with hot garlic sauce and shredded chicken in chilli oyster. Mains in fish & shellfish are worth looking into too. Rice and noodles are favourite part of every meal. When in doubt choose bowl or clay pot meal.

To satisfy sweet pangs chef makes fried ice cream spring roll which come highly recommended. Chocolate lasagne is another crowd favourite. The staff treats you in a very polite and courteous manner which is a definite plus. Being such a popular choice among regulars Kylin premier is reasonably priced and can be well affordable. The ambience alone makes it a worthy visit.
