Pizza is an Italian invention and reached India in early 90’s with a string of pizza parlors, since then it has gained hard-core followers through its versatility and strong divine flavours. New Delhi may have several pizza houses nestled in the city, some quaint some slightly more fancy but one name will pop out more than the others, ‘Instapizza’. Counted amongst the more affordable side of pizza business, Instapizza has several outlets dotted across Delhi, including the one in the bustling market of Kalkaji, South Delhi.
The name Instapizza says it all. It is all about pizza and nothing else. Their short crisp menu is exclusively dedicated to pizzas, which they churn out beautifully. A very small section with couple of pasta dishes are their only diversity but major chunk of the menu is solely reserved for pies. Instapizza offers as many as six crusts, including a Ragi (millet) one meant for gluten-free diet. A vast assortment of toppings can be chosen from to create that perfect pie you can drool after. Your pick lies between, West Delhi summer pizza, pepperoni, Kalkaji special, pigging out, Indian hot, double spicy chicken, Galleria special, Cyber Hub chorizo special, veggie deluxe, haryali paneer and Mall of India special. Regulars can’t get enough of The Chicago style monster deep dish. The destroyer has our vote.
Tuck into their bagel bombs to kill time while you wait for your friends. Instapizza rounds off your evening with something sweet. Pick between Instabrownie or chocolate chip cookie. Sip on a diet coke or fruit juice to wash it all down. Those having a party can dial for their ‘XL party pizza’. It’s value for money and is a good option to share. Climb a small flight of stairs to reach this quaint pizza parlor. It is a little humbler than it’s peers but flavours are smack on. The striped yellow signage instantly attracts your eyes.
