Joining the ever busy ranks of Delhi’s nightlife, FLYP@MTV is an upscale lounge designed strikingly with bright vibrant colours and still maintaining the casual air to make the crowd feel comfortable. As you take the flight of stairs to the first floor your ears pick up the loose notes of lively music seeping through the doors. You step into a world of fun, innovation and quirkiness. Forget stiff closely set quarters, which often becomes stuffy after few hours. At FLYP@MTV you are met with a lavishly spacious room that closely resembles a commercial warehouse, with wide spaces running between the sitting areas. You have your pick of their assorted sitting style, on one hand they have peppy coloured barstools and metal chairs, and on the other they let you cosy up with plush sofas and couches. To highlight the areas they have used bright paints liberally, a detail that looks attractive.
Partying at FLYP@MTV is an exhilarating experience that doesn’t even cost much. Paired with their impressive bar menu is a very varied food menu, which features an eclectic range of cuisines. Let yourself be wooed with, Thai jhalmuri salad, biryani arancini, black miso chicken tikka, chipotle paneer tikka, dahi kebab, fish fingers, bread pakora, mushroom 65 and lukhmi tacos as the first course. For second they dish out, quesadilla, flatbread pizza, bun kebab, Panini, pasta, Indian curries and Continental fare. Round it all off with a sweet finish. Try, kalakand chocolate tarts, bruleed gulabjamun cheese cake and banoffee pie. Food is innovative, modern and brilliant.
