This laid-back cheerful café is a fairly new entrant on Delhi’s dining scene and soon captured our fascination with its peppy vibe and drool-worthy menu. Be it for a leisurely breakfast or for a late dinner commitment, Café Delhi Heights is a pretty versatile eatery. It allows you to sit in peace for hours and munch on a delectable range of food from all over the world, catching up with friends. Delhiets adored this eatery so much that they welcomed the series of outlets popping up all across Delhi. Today we are talking about the one at Pacific Mall in Tagore Garden.
Café Delhi Heights has a menu that is an amalgamation of every popular cuisine. On one table, you can enjoy the flavors of Asia to Italy to India to Europe. Menu is extensive and features dishes from all over the globe. This eclectic mix of food gets complimented by an excellent range of juices, coffee, tea, shakes and smoothies, if you don’t feel like drinking. Those who do can opt for a cold beer. Definitely look into their all day breakfast section. Appetizer wise you can have, tawa fry fish, crispy lotus root with honey-chilli, bang bang chicken 65, prawns & calamari lime remix, railways cutlet and grilled fish with Thai herbs. For a more substantial fare go with, casalinga pizza, grilled panini, Himalayan thukpa, penne con vodka, mustard fish curry, the tender lamb shank, mom’s buttered paneer tikka masala and steak au poivre.
End the evening with something sweet. Indulge in some of Café Delhi Heights divine desserts such as, ban-o-ffee pie, chocolate fondue, tiramisu alla casa, cheesecake’s mess, chocolate glory or whatever is dessert of the day. Service is amiable and friendly. Staff is helpful too. You will enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of the café. Décor is kept basic and rather industrial looking. Simple settees flanks long sturdy wooden tables. By adding funky printed cushions, the café takes the style quotient up a notch. Opt to sit at those polished community tables if you are part of a large group. Ambience is warm, welcoming and relaxed. If you want to read in peace, pick a corner table. Without being too expensive, CDH comes off as a charming place.
