- Go straight for the thalis here – sheer variety and rotating viands notwithstanding, the carefully orchestrated courses are a part of the experience. The Ranjit Khaasa is a good mix of seasonal experiments and menu stars
- Whilst the principles of Ayurveda are not designed to bloat you, your gut is likely to appreciate a glass of jaljeera (not in the thali) and a walk around the restaurant. Each section is stunningly modelled after distinct dining quarters in a royal palace
- It is hard to capture the finer, but well thought out details – such as an all vegetarian staff and separate menus for the host and diners. Do ask for Chef Varun Mohan, who will happily regale you with a paean to this labour of love
