Nothing comes close to the satisfaction of cutting into a piece of meat and slathering it in sauce before putting it in your mouth. The way the meat simply melts on your tongue, leaving in its wake a mélange of erotic flavours, washing it with seasoning and the quintessential taste of the meat, leaves one stunned. Bengalurians love their share of steaks and grills, a craving they satisfy by driving down to ‘Connie’s Steakhouse & Wine Bar’, a must visit for every hard core carnivore. The restaurant is a well-known fixture on Nehru Road, Kammanahalli and is raved about like a legend amongst gourmets. Ask anyone, the name is famous.
If you are serious about meats then Connie’s Steakhouse & Wine Bar is perfect for you. Their menu is meat-heavy (of course!) but it does have some good vegetarian options on it too. An extensive Continental, American and European spread awaits you here, backed by a wonderful wine collection. They even dish out breakfast spreads. For dinner, its best to wade into the menu through the appetizers. Start with, prawn in garlic sauce, potato wedges, surf & turf, veggie cannon balls, buffalo wings, pork babyback ribs, fish in garlic sauce, Barcelona chicken strips, lamb cannon balls and Terry’s tenderloin. In main course they serve, New York pasta, bacon & beef burger, chicken in tamarind BBQ sauce, mixed seafood in spicy honey sauce, Jack Daniel pork steak, tenderloin in velvet sauce, chicken in spicy rosemary sauce, pepper roast tenderloin and blackened fish with citrus salsa.
It’s a good place to host a small party, call them and fix something. We assure you they will be most helpful. When you reach the final leg of the menu let your sweet tooth be wooed by an array of toothsome desserts like.
