SALT Pan Indian Restaurant – an epitome of great humility and genuine optimism expressed on a late, boasts of being a prominent aspect of every diner craving for a wholesome Indian meal. For a restaurant patron today, there seems to be a feasibility checklist when he dines at a restaurant. Solely based on a range of what is on the menu, the beverage selection, the quality of service offered and price sensitivity issues, SALT Pan Indian Restaurant was a pioneer in assessing these factors and built a brand to cater to these aspects. The restaurant opened its doors first in 2013 in the bustling and prevalent hub of Chennai in Vadapalani. With a vision to stay ever-focused on its product – SALT Pan Indian Restaurant claims a prominent Chennai fan base.
However, with Chef Goutham Balasubramanian, Chef Bala Balachander and Chef Sudagar Rajendan at the helm of the day-to-day operations and the ceaseless and ‘never give up’ attitude, one outlet was just not enough. SALT Pan Indian Restaurant was brought to the ever-so-dynamic and fast-paced Bengaluru, opening two outlets in just one year at VR Mall and Nexus Koramangala (formerly called Forum), in 2016. With the task of replicating the same values of giving prominence to food and bearing in mind guest expectations, the trio had their work cut out. However, every patron who dined at SALT Pan Indian Restaurant praised the quality of food and service and all this keeping in mind affordability.
Come 2019, SALT saw a quick outlet pop up at Nexus Shantiniketan (the then Forum) and the brand promised to stay true to its roots, flavor, and essence. Cocooned away in the suburb of the city, the folks of this fortified industrial area of Bengaluru still believe in eating good food and at a good price; and SALT Pan Indian Restaurants yet again did not disappoint and created a fan base of yet another demography. Today, SALT has its fourth Bengaluru-based outlet and fifth overall located in the heart of Bengaluru at the glamorous and luxury crested UB City. Despite the hustle and the ocean of dining choices, SALT has managed to find a way to people’s hearts and offers the same level of fine dining goodness. SALT today is a growing tale of success, and it has been possible due to the persistence of achieving greatness from each of its members of staff and the constant support and backing from the members of management. It is a place where every diner must visit to come face-to-face with a rather unprejudiced yet unique Indian dining experience. So, we invite every diner to experience and re-discover Indian food set apart from the rest –with a pinch of SALT.
